Do you think FBI should be able to have access to Apple iPhones to protect our country? The FBI should be able to access Apple iPhones in their investigation.
The FBI could tell when and where the next terrorists attack may be with the access to Apple iPhones. Terrorism in America has been a problem throughout history. According to an article in Newsela called “Apple's refusal to cooperate harms FBI's counterterrorism efforts?” “Authorities in EU countries believe Islamic terrorist cells have mushroomed across Europe — ready to commit more horrendous acts as they receive orders from their controllers in the Middle East and North Africa.” If the FBI were able to have access to Apple iPhones the U.S. would be a lot safer. There would be less terrorist attacks. We would be ready for them when they happen. We would be able to plan attacks on them more easily with their location and surroundings.
Although the FBI would be violating the Fourth Amendment, it would help the U.S. with attacks. Safety should always come before money. An article in Newsela called “Apple's refusal to cooperate harms FBI's counterterrorism efforts” states “America’s corporation executives, who put patriotism ahead of profits, worked for one dollar a year until the war ended.” America’s safety is the top priority between the two. Apple should not resist to allow the FBI to have access just for the profits. The U.S. could be a much safer place with the ability to predict when and where the next attacks may occur.
Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, might want to reconsider the response to the FBI. ISIS is a very dangerous group. Apple's refusal to cooperate harms FBI's counterterrorism efforts, states “As we enter what well may be World War III, Apple’s Cook might want to take particular note of their sacrifice.” His salary last year, by the way, was $10.28 million and his net worth was an estimated $785 million.” Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, makes over 10 million dollars in salary. He should rethink the sacrifice of a small amount of that money for the United States protection. Because of the dangers of the ISIS, the FBI needs to be able to access iPhones.
The FBI should be able to access Apple iPhones in their investigation. With the help from Apple the FBI could tell when and where the next terrorist attack may be. Although it is against the Fourth Amendment, it would make the U.S. safer. Tim Cook makes over 10 million dollars a year, he could easily help the FBI with accessing Apple iPhones. Accessing Apple iPhones would make America much more safe than it is now.
