Currently I’m in 7th grade and my grade point average for the 1st nine weeks was 4.0. I enjoy playing sports and being outside. I would rather move around than sit at a computer all day. When I grow up, I want to be a Sports Medicine Physician.
I will become a Sports Medicine Physician by keeping good grades throughout high school and college. According to Ohio Means Jobs website, I would need to have a doctoral or professional degree. The training that I would need for this job are internship and residency. I also would need to keep up my work ethic, and pay close attention in class.
In order to become a Sports Medicine Physician I will need the abilities of Oral Comprehension, Problem Sensitivity, and Oral Expression. According to https://www.mynextmove.org/profile/summary/29-1069.11 “listen and understand what people say...communicate by speaking...pay attention to something without being distracted.” My skills needed are verbal, ideas and logic, visual understanding, and paying attention. I would need to have Critical Thinking, Active Listening, and Reading Comprehension.
Sports Medicine Physicians can lead me to many other jobs. According to Ohio Means Jobs website, Sports Medicine Physicians are in demand. Some schools I would be able to go to is Ohio State University-Main Campus, University of Toledo, Ohio University- Main Campus etc. Sports Medicine Physicians have a salary of $187,200. Being a Sports Medicine Physician is a good paying job for me that I might want to do so I can still be around sports. I would need a doctoral degree to be a Sports Medicine Physician, so I would have a lot of other job choices.
After researching this job, and career day I will become a Sports Medicine Physician by keeping good grades in high school and college.
