Something that will help me in life is a quote that always reminds me of how to do something. The quote “The juice is worth the squeeze” stuck out to me because anything that is good in life does not come easily. This quote helps me as a student by reminding me to work hard in the classroom because it is worth it. Working hard in the classroom could lead to a scholarship. I would not be able to achieve this without effort. F's are easy, A's are hard.
As an adult this quote will help me with my job and always reminding me to work hard at that. It will also help me with not just my job but to work hard for my family, to work hard for anything I own. The quote “The juice is worth the squeeze” will help me in life wether it is my job, my academics, or anything else in life that is worthwhile.
From this assignment, I learned some of the key concepts that I needed to know for the tests. Making these posters help me to understand the topics better. This also helped me to think more about the main ideas in each class.
Creating these posters helped me learn how to use the website Canva better than before. Some features I didn't know, was uploading photos and downloading the posters into my Google Drive. Canva is easy to use and helpful when making these posters.
Another website I learned how to use was FotoFlexer. Although there are many options, it is helpful and easy to figure out once you start using it more. Editing photos on FotoFlexer make the photos you want them to look like and make them look unique. Overall this project was fun and helpful with understanding the main topics in my classes, It defiantly will help me with testing.
Do you think FBI should be able to have access to Apple iPhones to protect our country? The FBI should be able to access Apple iPhones in their investigation.
The FBI could tell when and where the next terrorists attack may be with the access to Apple iPhones. Terrorism in America has been a problem throughout history. According to an article in Newsela called “Apple's refusal to cooperate harms FBI's counterterrorism efforts?” “Authorities in EU countries believe Islamic terrorist cells have mushroomed across Europe — ready to commit more horrendous acts as they receive orders from their controllers in the Middle East and North Africa.” If the FBI were able to have access to Apple iPhones the U.S. would be a lot safer. There would be less terrorist attacks. We would be ready for them when they happen. We would be able to plan attacks on them more easily with their location and surroundings.
Although the FBI would be violating the Fourth Amendment, it would help the U.S. with attacks. Safety should always come before money. An article in Newsela called “Apple's refusal to cooperate harms FBI's counterterrorism efforts” states “America’s corporation executives, who put patriotism ahead of profits, worked for one dollar a year until the war ended.” America’s safety is the top priority between the two. Apple should not resist to allow the FBI to have access just for the profits. The U.S. could be a much safer place with the ability to predict when and where the next attacks may occur.
Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, might want to reconsider the response to the FBI. ISIS is a very dangerous group. Apple's refusal to cooperate harms FBI's counterterrorism efforts, states “As we enter what well may be World War III, Apple’s Cook might want to take particular note of their sacrifice.” His salary last year, by the way, was $10.28 million and his net worth was an estimated $785 million.” Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, makes over 10 million dollars in salary. He should rethink the sacrifice of a small amount of that money for the United States protection. Because of the dangers of the ISIS, the FBI needs to be able to access iPhones.
The FBI should be able to access Apple iPhones in their investigation. With the help from Apple the FBI could tell when and where the next terrorist attack may be. Although it is against the Fourth Amendment, it would make the U.S. safer. Tim Cook makes over 10 million dollars a year, he could easily help the FBI with accessing Apple iPhones. Accessing Apple iPhones would make America much more safe than it is now.

How to Field, Hit, and Bunt
Do you love home runs and great plays on ground balls? If so here are some tips to improve your skills. Fielding, hitting and bunting are the three most important fundamentals to becoming a great baseball player.
Fielding is one of the most important aspects of the game. In the 10th inning of Game 6 Bill Buckner cost Boston the 1986 World Series when Mookie Wilson hit a ground ball to Buckner that went right through his legs. Bill Buckner’s career is known for the error to lose the world series to the New York Mets. Although not even the best fielders are perfect, it is very important to be able to field. The ability to field the ball is needed on a team to be able to win. You also need to have soft hands, but smooth footwork allows your hands to work freely. According to probaseballinsider.com “Many smooth infielders look like they have soft hands, but it is actually their feet that allow their hands to work so freely.” Be on balance when fielding and throwing the ball. Making just the routine plays can decide if you win or lose. One of the best fielders that ever played, Derek Jeter, talked about the importance of fielding the baseball and throwing quickly. You should attack the ball under control, don’t sit back and wait for it. Keep your glove extended out in front of you so it is always in your vision, and on a bad hop you still have room to react.
Being able to hit is very crucial in baseball. Since hitting is so important here are some tips to improve your swing. First the hitter needs to load as the pitcher starts his windup. He needs to have his back elbow up and a little bend at the knees. The swing should be level with the pitch. The batter should twist his hips for power, as he does this his back leg should be bent and his front leg should be straight. One of the most key things to a swing is balance. According to stack.com “Balance from the beginning through the finish of the swing is crucial for your ability to track the ball accurately.” “Keeping your hands back at the start of your swing will allow you to generate a lot of energy with your legs and core before bringing your hands through.” Keeping your hands back gives you a quick swing for power. If you don’t score any runs how would you win? According to fangraphs.com “designated hitters are the highest payed player in the major league.” Players in the MLB get paid millions to hit for them. The average starter salary is over 10 million for DH players and less for all other defensive positions.
At very big times bunting comes into play. If the batter is at the plate and his coach gives him the bunt sign his job is to get it down to advance the runner. If he advances the runner, his team has a better chance of scoring. In a suicide squeeze situation the runner on third is stealing home and the batter at the plate has to get the bunt down no matter where the pitch is. According to humankinetics.com “bunting is still an important technical skill in baseball, especially in high school baseball.” Although most players are not to thrilled about having to bunt, it is very important to get it down. Because it is so important, I will give you some points on how to do it. First the hitter needs to square up once the pitcher is in his windup and pivot both feet toward the pitcher. He should angle the barrel of his bat up a little bit. He should not move his bat, he should move up and down with his legs. Pull the bat back if it is not a strike unless it is a suicide squeeze, and be careful bunting with 2 strikes.
It is important to be able to do these skills because it could get your college paid for. It might even lead you to the major leagues. Without fielding, hitting, bunting baseball would be a mess, there would be no fundamentals and it would be boring to watch. These three aspects are most important in the game of baseball.

Can Fame and Fortune Make You Happy?
Being famous can bring enormous amounts of stress. Although you get amazing perks and tickets to famous award shows, all the attention can be very stressful. People think celebrity life would be the best, but it’s not always fun being on camera 24/7.
Some think that they would be really happy living as a celebrity. According to University of Rochester in New York, “true happiness comes from having close relationships, time to focus on personal growth, and connections to your community.” Being a celebrity can make those things extremely difficult. You wouldn’t even be able to go to the store without being photographed or giving out autographs to fans.
Fame and fortune may be fine for some, but most wouldn’t like all the attention and stress that comes with it. According to an article found in Scope, “Beyoncé has said that though she likes attention when she’s onstage, she’d be happier if she could “cut it off” when she isn’t performing and just enjoy her life.” Celebrities are getting their looks and eating habits criticized by the media. Even having friends can be a problem, they wonder if their friends like them for who they are and what they do. Being on TV may be some people’s dream, but for celebrities most just want some time off.
Celebrities are limited to what they can do on days when they don’t have to perform. According to a Scope article, “Lawrence said that simply stepping outside her front door gives her anxiety.” “famous people can’t so much as walk their dogs or tie their shoes without being gawked at, photographed, tweeted about, or Instagrammed.” Celebrities have a hard time having fun outside of being on stage.
Fame is not always the way to happiness, there can be other options that can lead to enjoyment. Celebrities have enormous amounts of stress and attention that comes from being famous. Most people want to be famous and think they would like the attention, although it could become very annoying and frustrating. Being famous, you wouldn’t be able to walk your dog, or go for a bike ride without being stopped and tried to talked to. Fame and fortune would not make me happy.
Christmas break was fun and I spent a lot of time with my family. Over break we put up the Nativity set that my grandpa made for us. After that we put up our tree that we have, but my mom did most of the decorating.
Since we had a lot of Christmases with my families, we got lots of presents. On the 23rd we had Christmas at my Grandpa Mike’s, there I got a $50 gift card to Dick’s. On Christmas Eve we had Christmas at my Nana’s house, which was all my mom’s side of the family. We also had Christmas with my aunts and uncles from my dad’s side on Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas day we had our Christmas when we got up in the morning, I got an IPhone 6s from my mom and dad. We went to my Grandparents from my dad’s side the day after Christmas.
Although winter break was fun, I wish it was still going. After all of the Christmases we watched movies and I hung out with my family. We had basketball practice most days since we didn’t have any games. On New Year’s Eve we had people over to watch the Ohio State game. After a few day we take down our tree and Nativity set and get ready for school again.
